Does anyone have the following issue? I try to open some
MP3 files and get the message "The file is not an MP3 file
or contains corrupted information" other MP3 files seem to
open and play ok. This wouldn't be puzzling to me except
that I have RealJukebox and this program appears to be able
to open and play those MP3s that I can't open in Sound
Forge 4.5c. I've double checked and made sure that MP3
file types were associated properly w/Forge32.exe. Thanks.

Hello.

A lot of .MP2's are renamed to .MP3 files for some reason, this is
probably why you have problems opening some "MP3's" in Sound Forge.

Sound Forge does NOT support the opening of the MP2's, unfortunately,
whereas RealJukebox does.

Thanks.
