Is this the least active forum in the world?

My original problem was Sounf Forge v.4 recording like a
drowning gramaphone on a big drive and win98, whereas it
was perfect in win95

I've just uninstalled vegas pro because that does the same.

So; Can I say something quite serious and fundamental....?

My job ends upon clicking the install button. That's it!

If the software reports "xxxxxx was installed successfully"
then it is junkware.

It would be nice if I was told during setup "Your hard
drive is too small/slow/the wrong colour..........

So what hardware do I need to make Sound Forge run?
