I think I've discovered that the "Dynamics" option is the approximate equivalent of compression -- is this correct, or is there some important distinction between them? If correct, can anyone suggest some Dynamics settings that I should use as a starting point on my stereo mixes? I've also been reading about various DirectX plug-in compressors from other vendors. Should I consider one of those as another option?
