Subject:MPEG file extensions

Hi There,

Maybe this is a dumb question but I haven't found an answer
yet in any book or manual. It is simply this: In XP45 when I
want to "Save As" a file to mpeg I choose the compression
method which is simple enough but the same dialogue box
contains another choice for "format" which can be any one of
many different extensions. Which one do I use?
