Hi! I bought the "Audio Anywhere" suite last week, which has Acid Style, and Sound Forge XP 4.5. There's a sticker on the front of the box that says "Supports MP3 MSAudio Details Inside". There's a square of paper inside that says "Now supporting MP3 and MSAudio. Free updates available at: audioanywhere.com". I have been unable to log onto audioanywhere.com. There is an "update" for Sound Forge XP, to version "4.5e" here on this site. Although the patch now lets me use MSAudio, the MP3 is a "limited trial version", and Sonic Foundry sells the full version for $20. There is NO indication from anything in the box, that "MP3" is supported for only a "trial period". Did I get the wrong file? How do I get the free MP3 update "at audioanywhere.com"? I'll try to call Sonic Foundry to clear this up, but please post something for people who bought the software because it "supports" MP3. |

The limited trial is mentioned here: http://www.sonicfoundry.com/Products/ShowProduct.asp? PID=6&FeatureID=605 There's an MP3 Plug-In available for $19.95. That info should be on the box, or at least that piece of paper inside should have read "$19.95 Upgrade", NOT "Free Upgrade". |
