Hi Folks, Thanks for the information! Great resource, Currently using AP5.0, & thinking of making the jump to AP6.0, my mch is within the spec given, modest laptop using EMU 0404, what I wish to know about Acid Pro 6. (AP6.)… 1. Can I export or render a MIDI only multi track GM programmed project files to a MIDI smf Format 1 file that will play all instruments back in another GM sound card 2. How is KONTACT Native instruments, does it do what it says on the box?, how is it on system resources? Can the output be rendered? 3. Is the leap worth it, or stay put until the bug issue becomes a little less significant, how has it rolled out for seasoned Acid users, many or any bug issues? Please excuse me if you have answered these queries many time before. Best John |

Found partial answers for those that require same. 1. According MIDI EXPORT you can select between either FORMAT 0 or FORMAT 1 when saving MIDI to a file. 2. REMIX review complains about the registration procedure for Native 's K' plugin...(well done SONY on that regard) 3. now all wish for is score features. Thanks a bunch\i/ |

The first thing I'd suggest is to check you sound card's compatability with acid 6. I think everything should be fine, but I've seen reports of problems with emu sound cards. |

Thank you Dkeenum for your reply, I have no probs with EMU 0404 although I have not dived that deep yet into AP6. |
