Subject:Splitting Large .wav files and saving?

Hi all, I'm a relatively new user of soundforge and would like to know if it is possible to convert regions into seperate waves and save them as such or even to cut a large .wav (a whole live show) into smaller .wavs (seperate songs)... similar to what you can do in CDWav. I like the way CDWav does that, but it's interface is quite cumbersome. I do a lot of large transfers from Dat to hard drive to CD and this would come in quite handy. I'm aware I can cut and past the regions and then save them seperately, but that is a hassle and takes a lot of time and hard drive space. It seems like a very useful feature and if shareware like CDWav can do this, then I don't see why Soundforge shouldn't also. Any help would be appreciated. thanks, -Tony |
