Now I want to record another track to later mix with Sound 1. So I want to record Sound 2 while monitoring/listening to sound 1. Any help would be appreciated. The cable I used has two audio SPDIF (RCA) connectors for the tape side, and one 1/4 inch connector for the sound card side; purchased at Radio Shack for about $5.00. Make sure that "line in" is selected to record on your PC (Win9x assumed in this example) * right click on the speaker icon, left click on Open Volume Controls * left click on Options->Properties (top left) * make sure the "Line-in" check box is selected * click on * click the "Recording" radio button * click the "Select" radio button Next, you need to begin recording with SoundForge, and begin playing your tape. You should be able to hear the tape playing, as well. If not, check the volume controls for playing Line-in. Make sure that "line in" is selected to record on your PC

Next, you need to begin recording with SoundForge, and begin playing
