how do u record from a stereo to SF? -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:how do u record from a stereo to SF? Posted by: sjach Date:12/25/1999 5:14:00 PM I just got Sound Forge today and I hooked up my stereo to my computer. When I play a tape I hear the sound come through my computer speakes so I know the audio cable is hooked up properly. How do I go about playing the tape and recording a song off of it and storing it as a wav? Do I go to record, hit record and then hit stop when I want it to stop and then stop my tape deck and hit the play button in Sound Forge? Please email me privately if you know.
