Subject:SoundForge Win95 Installation

I tried to install the upgrade for SoundForge XP and upon
completion of the upgrade I get a message that I require
administrator privileges to perform this install.
Meanwhile, what I am left with is an application that will
not longer run so I have to uninstall SoundForge XP and
reinstall the old version so I have something with which to
work.

I am a stand alone unit not on a network so I do not get it.
Anyone have any ideas?
