Subject:aiff/aifc files

Hi,

trying to compress aif files to something called aifc.
Don't know much about it but I was told I will be able to
compress the files to provide me with small files. Can I
do this with Sound Forge? If not does anyone know of a
program that will do so? Thanks in advance for your help.
