I have 800+ sound files which unfortunately were not all recorded at the same volumes. I need to 'normalize' them (I guess that's the right term) such that they all have the same volume characteristic. What is the best and quickest way to accomplish this with Sound Forge 4? Thanks for comments. |

Since you're using 4.0, you would need the Batch Converter plug-in, if you can still find a copy, which might be hard since its an older product. Sound Forge 4.5 includes the Batch Converter and Spectral Analysis plugins. There is an upgrade available for your copy, you can either hit the Products page on this website, or call Customer Service for more details and to order. Hope this helps, The Thump Jolie Renee wrote: >>I have 800+ sound files which unfortunately were not all >>recorded at the same volumes.
