Subject:HI, I am new to this, can SF 4.0 do these?

Hi,

I would like to edit some classical music with SF 4.0.
However, I am going to record from a CD source. Would the
sound be different then recording from, say, a DAT source?

Also, can SF edit wrong notes, pitches, tempo, etc?
Do I need some kind of plug-in to do those?
