Subject:copy paste question

I want part of my file to repeat so I select that part
and hit the copy command,I want to insert what I copied
back into the file (at my new cursor position)without over
writing anything.
basically I'm tring to lenghthen the tune, what command
should I be using to do this??
any help would be great!

Just paste after you put the curser where you want it.It wont over
write the file.

Only "mix" will overwrite the file. Its one of the paste buttons.
