Hi there, maybe this topic is already being discussed, but my question is: can I use an external sound module like the Ketron SD2 with Acid Pro 6 to patch my midi sounds through it? If so, what is the procedure? Thanks Mballara |

You will need a MIDI output for use in ACID. Connect the SD2 to this MIDI output. Enable your MIDI output in ACID. You can rename the MIDI output port in ACID to Kentron SD2 to make this easier to navigate. Add a MIDI track and route its MIDI output to this device. Your SD2 will have to be routed to an external audio jack and mixed with the output of ACID's other tracks. ACID currently does not support mixing external audio sources in real time through its software mixer. To get around this, you can record the audio out of the SD2 as a track in ACID. Then just disable, mute the MIDI tracks routed to the SD2. Peter |
