When recording music from vinyl, I want to create wav files. The recording goes well, however, when I listen to the wav file the music sometimes stutters. Any suggestion? |

Davy, Because we animate the waveform and many Video Card drivers use system resources improperly, our Scroll Smoothly feature causes glitchs to occur in playback on some systems. For all the technical details on this you could visit: http://www.zefiro.com and read Greg Hanssen's "VGA Kills Audio" post under the "New" link. Ways to fix this include 1. Uncheck Scroll Smoothly under the Options menu. 2. Turn down Hardware Acceleration in Start|Settings|Control Panel|System|Performance|Graphics. Usually the 1/3rd up setting will relieve this. You will need to reboot for this to take effect. 3. Change from however many colors you have selected to 256 colors under Start|Settings|Control Panel|Display|Settings. 4. Try a updated video driver for your display adapter from the manufacturer. Tom Hamer Sonic Foundry Tech Support Davy Baemelis wrote: >>When recording music from vinyl, I want to create wav >>files.
