Subject:Importing Longer Audio Files

I'm having a hard time understanding the process for importing longer audio files.

In the project explorer I'll right click on the audio file and "Add To Project"

At this point the beatmapper wizard comes up and I will cancel out of it.

A new track appears but I can't get the audio to timeline. I figured out by accident that if I go the clip pool and convert the track to a loop I can paint it onto the timeline.

Is there a way to add it to the timeline as a one shot ?

EDIT: I think I figured out what I was doing wrong

Under track properties/Clip Properties/acid type you have three choices: loop, beatmap, and one shot.

The way I do it is to double click on the track's number. The track properties window opens. I then double clip on the track's name and the clip properties window opens.

There may be an easier way to do this.
