Subject:changes in vst settings when opening project

When I open my project a setting for my z3ta+ vst is always defaulted. The arpeggio disabled option - so when I start the project - by default it plays all of the vst's ( z3..) with arp on even I unchecked it and saved.
what's going on here?
is there something i need to do to the vst?
or is this a compatibilty issue with acid and vst?

Although no one (esp Sony) has said so, this IS a BUG, Sony Support is aware of it and should be working on it in their "Development" division. I suggest you email support and inquire about "ongoing VST bug" - if they dont know what you mean , post back and i'll help you help them (Incident Ref #).

I have been unable to reliably use Acid/Sound Forge for 6 months due to this. But i like both, so i am hoping they work it out.

Symptoms:

Acid:

VST inst's lose or default their 'saved' values when proj re-opened.
VST FX values do the same, even when just browsing Fx Chain

Sound Forge:
VST FX lose or default settings, presets dont save sometimes


....doesnt happen with all VST's, but also, doesnt happen on other DAW and does happen over various manufactuers of VST's.


Again, inquire direct to Sony: and give them a detailed account of your issues.

Be sure to get an Incident Ref # !!!!!!

Then BE SURE to follow up with them - they are busy and can 'lose' incidents sometimes .
