Subject:Buying Advice

I have a PII450 w/128 etc.etc..
I've used midi in the past but don't have that equipment
with me anymore.
I'm making Flash movies and homepages and want to add music
to these latter efforts. I'm considering GINA 24 or LAYLA
for digital I/O and want to know what other equipment I
will need to complete this system with SF4.5 as the editing
software. Can I use any sort of keyboard-synth with a sound
module (Roland, Yamaha) to produce the music I want. I need
to later convert these to .wav or .MP3 files to export to
my Flash productions.

Any and all recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
