I PURCHASED A CREATIVE LABS SOUNDBLASTER LIVE! SOUNDCARD
SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE IT CAME WITH SOUNDFORGE 4.0 AND THE
CARD HAS ANALOG AND DIGITAL I/O'S. ID LIKE TO PUT MY VINYL
ON CD'S AS WELL AS RECORD COMPILATIONS DONE ON A MIXER AND
PUT ON STEREO VHS TAPES. I WAS TOLD THAT SOUNDFORGE HAS THIS
CAPABILITY BUT I HAVE AS YET FIGURED OUT HOW?

if your source audio comes from an analog device (phono or VHS deck)
you will have to record it analog into the SB live. In order to record
digitaly you need to run it thru an Analog to digital converter. (with
fiber outs)
