Hello, I have just encountered an odd behavior with Track EQ. - Insert a track EQ plug-in on an individual audio track - Change the gain and the bandwidth (e.g. 6.0 and 3.0) - Uncheck the track EQ ckeckbox at the top of the plug-in window - After unchecking, the gain or the bandwidth change to unwanted values, e.g. gain to 0.00 or bandwidth to 0.1, so the originally set values are lost. I guess it's a bug. Can anyone reproduce this ? Will there be a fix ? Message last edited on2/10/2008 2:17:08 AM byPol Davril. |

> Can anyone reproduce this ? No, I can't reproduce it. The values stay regardless of what I set them to, or how many times I check and uncheck the Track EQ. Something is not right with your installation. ~jr |

Thanks. However, I'm sure that my install is ok. By the way, the issue occurs with "Band" EQ type only, not with "Low Shelf' or "High Shelf". Have you tried with "Band" ? |

> Have you tried with "Band" ? Just went back to check and I still can't reproduce it with Band EQ. The numbers stay where they were set. ~jr |

I have also noticed a weird behavior with many Sony plugins (in both Acid and Vegas). Simply place the cursor in a text box control and turn the plugin off. The value of that text box is then changed. Bo Message last edited on2/10/2008 11:13:28 AM byCineGobs. |

"Thanks. However, I'm sure that my install is ok." How did you determine that your install is "ok"? Many things can cause corruption and unless you actually experiment with an uninstall/re-install, I think it is virtually impossible for you to know for sure. Since nobody is able to reproduce your problems, re-installing is what you need to try next. |

Thanks to everyone for the advices. I will try to uninstall and install again and post the results here. (I have probably installed a demo version of the latest Soundforge and some plug-ins could have been updated, it's maybe a clue). Kind regards |

Hello, I have uninstalled Acid Pro 6.0d completely and installed again. Unfortunately, the issue is still there... Strange... |

Completely uninstall Sound Forge and see if things change. You may need to reinstall Acid again after that. |

Good news for you (maybe) ... I have been on the Phone with Sony for months re: this issue. FINALLY they said they were able to reproduce it and it (supposedly) was sent to Sony Development. It IS a bug, it is not your PC - i I have been unable to use Sound Forge or Acid for the past 6 months due to this. Bad news...... They said to keep looking for an update - but we need to keep asking about it...... .....i had to keep reminding them to look into it (which was irritating - but to give them credit , once they really took me serious, they did work on it). I suggest ANY one with this issue, to Email or Call them, to help 'remind' them. Some have it , some dont - i think it is a VST Architecture bug, and depending on which plugs you have, you will or wont have this issue. Hope this helps, BZ |
