Sound Forge doesn't play with my CARD D Plus -Sound Forge - PC

I just changed my computer from a Pac Bell 60 meg pentium to a Presario 333mhz. I loaded Sound Forge 4.0 on it and installed my Card D plus. It records ok and displays a good waveform but you can't hear the audio when I play it back. I think it is the CARD because the same thing happens with Cakewalk. I selected the DON'T CASCADE function on the Dard settings, but got no joy. Can anybody tackle this problem for me please??? I also loaded a CDWR on there, would that have any effect??? Thanks
