I'm going from tape to ? to MP3's. Must I make a .wav
first...and then make the .wav into an MP3? I think I have
the latest version of Sound Forge (4.5). Any ideas? Thank
you in advance for any help.

All you have to do is in the "save as" box, save as a mp3 under file
type! Or use the batch converter!

uh... I tried this (using SF v4.5) and there is no mp3 filetype.
Did you try this yourself or are you guessing? - LarkSonic
