Subject:Radio Effect

I would like to emulate a radio broadcast (from an military aircraft cockpit) on a regular voice
file...
How can I do it? Can Sound Foundry do this for me or is there some other program needed for
this...
Any help will be appreciated...

one way u could do this is set the sound channel to mono, sample size
to 8bit, and sample rate to 8,000.

then, goto the menu: Processes, Smooth/Enhance, set enhance level to 5
do that twice.
i got some nice effects from that.
