I have been using sound forge to edit voice recordings of lectures. I now have the finished(Edited) product but I need to tone down the "s" and "p"s in the persons voice. I have used the dynamic (graphic) tool in the effects menu but cannot find a setting that works. Is there any other tools that can tone down the "s" and "p"s or is it a job for a plug-in. Any tips? Please. |

What you need is a "deesser" that is definetly included in one of the plug-in packages from SONIC FOUNDRY (XFX1 or XFX2),that should take care of the "S" as for the "P" you should use a pop screen on your mic ..believe it does wonders and they are not too expensive! I hope this helped!!
