Subject:spectrum analizer........

Hi I'm very interested in the spectrum analizer feature in
sound forge ,I pretty much know what it does but i would
like to learn the practical applications of this feature
,can you suggest me some real world use for this feature
and maybe suggest things i could try with it? ....Thank
