Subject:Synch problem w/WAV files & video

I work with video recorded with Drop Frame time code. For editiong video I use either the Discreet Logic's Edit or DVision 2.2 systems. Then I create WAV files for the synch sound (recorded with Video) that needs work and open those files in Sound Forge (in 29.97 fps SMPTE Drop-Frame mode). Then after some EQ, I save the WAV files. When I import these WAV files back into my Video editing systems, the WAV files are slightly too short and therefore out-of-synch with the video by app. 2.2 frames per minute (which is the difference between SMTE drop-frame and non-dropframe time code). Is there a way of saving (or changing) these WAV files in Sound Forge, so that when I import them back into my video edit systems, they stay in synch with the video? Please kindly let me know. Any ideas would be very appreciated. I am kind of at the end of my rope with this problem. Thank you. |
