Subject:vst-SF4.0 "cant open -make sure u have access...."

When I try to use SF4.0 as my VST editor (by specifying the
path of the SF4.0 .exe file in the appropriate window), it
won't load the file correctly.
I get the msg: "Can't open C:\program.....\(123456) make
sure you have access to the specified file". The (123456)
is an example - I usually see a different 6-digit number
every time I try it....

If I just try to open the same wave file without using VST,
everything is fine, but it's the convenience that I'm
looking for.....
any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you go into process/channel converter look in the name
box and select Stereo to Stereo - Vocal Cut (remove
centre), last of the factory presets and give it a go. I
may sound a bit wierd but will have something close to what
you trying to achieve.
