Subject:OT: DVD-RAM Drive Reading as CD-ROM

I install the driver, it shows in File Explorer as G: DVD-RAM Drive, but then I put in media--of ANY type, I've tried 'em all--it switches to G: CD-ROM, and when I click on it, it says "Drive not available, incorrect function."

Has anyone seen--and more importantly, fixed--this problem?

Sorry for the off-topic post, but it impacts on my burning CDs of my music made in ACID, so that's relevant, right?
