I would like to split up a large wav song in more smaller wav. The way i think it has to be done is: set markers, convert markers to regions and then extract the regions. The regions list looks like this: 00:00:00.000 to 00:00:05.567 00:00:05.567 to 00:00:12.123 and so on. I want to burn the seperate wav on cd as DAO Should the regions list looks like above, or must it be (I think rather more) 00... to 00:00:05.567 00:00:05.568 to 00... Otherwise you get overlapping msec. or am I missing something. Thanks Jan Vegter |

easier yet is to just select your region (with or without markers) drag your selection onto the workspace. a new file is created! The times associated with the regions are relative to their location within a sound file - for instance... a region 00:01:19.792 - 00:02:03.235 that is dragged or pasted or whatever into a new (empty)file will have a start time of 00:00:00.000. and an end time of.. uh geesh i dont feel like subtracting :) but you get the idea slappy BTW what is DAO?
