Subject:Creating Loops

I've created a piece of music that I want to split up and use as a loop library. How do I take an existing piece of music and split it out into multiple files? I have Studio 7 and am considering Pro 6. I also own Sound Forge 9 (Pro) and Vegas 7 (Pro).

I'd prefer to do it automatically as part of the save/render process, instead of selecting individual regions or sections (Acid Pro) and rendering each section independently.

Thanks,
- George

That's pretty much the only way I know of doing it (rendering out using Regions and Sections only).

You *could* render the whole project out as a WAV and then use Sound Forge 9's "extract region" command (under Tools > Extract Regions, however, doing so will not ACIDize the extracted regions. You'd have to do that after using Sound Forge's ACID loop creation tools. (View > Toolbars or any of the individual ACID loop tool commands under Special)
