I like working with my Sound Forge, but I think about the error in the way of Sonic Foundry follow. The profesionals sitting a Sonic Foundry and his Sound Forge in a good place on the market, but Sonic Foundry don't remember this. The company prefer the way of low quality internet streaming and low quality sound files for internet, and forget the pro market. How many time we waiting for a Sound Forge in 24 bits?, the company have plans at respect? or prefer the amateur market?. The profesional need today a 24 bits system (A clients request), or the profesional's is coming to a mass desertion to other software systems. Please, I prefer working with Sound Forge, 24 bits now! |

My guess is that the 24bit soundforge is dependent on work being done for the new multitrack, which is probably taking longer to develop than originally planned -- --------------------------------------------------------- David Abraham Fenton -------------------------------------------------------- ramallo wrote in message ... >I like working with my Sound Forge, but I think about the >error in the way of Sonic Foundry follow. Yikes, I hope not. I seem to be in the minority, but I don't care about multi-track SF. Despite comments in this newsgroup, Cakewalk is actually a very good program. 24 bits is another thing. Ramallo is 100% right. Let's have it! I don't care either, as I use Tascam DTRS machines for multi- tracking. I only edit the stereo mix in Sound Forge - but can't do it on my 20/24 - bit files. vance erickson wrote: >>Yikes, I hope not.
