Hello everyone, I am new to pc recording and just got Acid Music 7.0 to write songs for my band and love it {rockabilly, country, etc.}. I used to use an old roland vs 880 and an alesis hr-16 drum machine to do this. once I figured out how to program the drums I couldnt turn it off.
my questions are.
1. What do I need to record several tracks at once,, right now I have a lexicon Alpha usb audio interface {I use it in stereo mode for 1 track right now but I probaby could figure out how to record 2},

What type of USB hardware do I need to record 4-8 tracks at once and how do I configure the acid music?

2. I noticed Acid pro has 24 bit recording,,is Acid Music 7.0 upgradable to Acid Pro 6 ?

thanks for your help

Many companies make multi imput interfaces. M-Audio comes to mind. Yes, you can upgrade from acid studio to acid pro.

But if you are new to this, I'd recomend that you wait until you've got some experience with acid studio. One track at a time isn't so bad.
