Subject:cannot install in nt Posted by: nosuits Date:4/15/1999 5:08:28 PM when i try to install sound forge xp 4 (came with layla sound card) in nt4, installation is disallowed and a dialogue box indicates a newer version is installed and needs to be uninstalled. no version whatsoever is currently installed, although 1) i did have it on nt before and 2) it is currently installed on a w95 drive that nt reads (dual boot setup). there is no reference to sonic foundry on nt in the registry. i surmise there is something, perhaps a dll, that sound forge reads that needs to be removed. i seek suggestions.
