Subject:Spectrum Analysis

Just recently got the full Sound Forge Version, which includes the
Spectrum Analysis.

I have run the graph a few times, and it's kinda neat, but I'm not sure
what it means, and I'm not sure what to do with it. I understand you
are supposed to be able to use it to get a better balance in your mix,
BUT I can't quite figure out how. Anyone willing to help me?
