Subject:Instrumentals

Okay folks. I am new to Sound Forge.

Put simply, here is what I want to do.

You know when you buy a single, included on the cd is the
song and the instrumental (only the sound but no words). I
want to be able to make that using sound Forge. I wonder
if there is an option that enables you to exclude all the
words from a wave file and only get the sound in the
background. Is that possible?
