Is it normal for ACID 6d to shut down if I do ANYTHING other than just sit and listen during playback? I've just read another post where someone else says the same thing. Anything I should be looking at? I mean even just dragging/dropping the FX window a couple of clicks during playback can result in a crash or error message and sudden shutdown. I cant even audition FX settings during playback without a potential crash, which is disappointing.

Also...
I just bought a new USB audio interface after my Steinberg MI4 crashed AP6d for the last year. I have a new Edirol USB interface and it's crackling and hesitating during playback, even with the buffers set to one click below the highest setting. Called Edirol and downloaded the latest ASIO drivers and it's still noisy when playing back unless the buffers are set to almost max. Still getting those hesitations and slowdowns during playback. EWdirol says their driver is an advanced driver that should allow for small buffer size, but I don't see that to be the case in AP6d.
I am running AP6d on a P4 3.2 ghz w 2 GB RAM, Edirol UA-4FX USB audio interface with the latest drivers.

I'm convinced AP6 is a damn buggy app. Version 3g was still the best.

After multiple crashes today I uninstalled/reinstalled and that seems to have helped a bit. Maybe see if that helps any.
