Subject:GUI malfunction

A project I was working on locked up when I was changing some presets (guitar rig 3). After I restarted... the slide bars, both vertical and horizontal do not appear. Instead of the horizontal there is just black. Instead of the verticle, it is just background color with the +,- still visible but no zoom tool.

This condition persists on every project including a new blank one.

Am I looking at a reinstall to correct this??
Ever happen to anyone?

Sometimes Windows Themes can cause this problem. I disabled Windows Theme support in Acid & Vegas and now all is well.

Indeed - the particular combination that seems to make this happen is using 'classic' theme in Windows, but checking 'enable Windows XP theme support' in the program.
