No major problem, I thought, I'll just record my right?@and left tracks separately and them combine them later. After all, that is the sort of thing that ‚”his software is designed for. Problem is that after I did that, the sound was badly distorted. This brings me to my problem with Sound Forge (4.0B). Just how fast does a computer have to be to run this software? On the box, it says that it will run on a 486; I have a 166 mhz Pentium and still have to record at the lowest possible sample rates if I'm not to get clicking sounds and bad distortion. Am I screwed, or just stupid?
