No major problem, I thought, I'll just switch tracks and record my right and left speakers separately and them combine them later. After all, that is the sort of thing that his software is designed for. Problem is that after I did that, the sound was badly distorted. This brings me to my problem with Sound Forge (4.0B). Just how fast does a computer have to be to run this software? On the box, it says that it will run on a 486; I have a 166 mhz Pentium and still have to record at the lowest possible sample rates if I'm not to get clicking sounds and bad distortion. Am I screwed, or just stupid?
