I have a system based on a 400Mhz, 256M RAM, 9gig SCSI, 6.4ide. My soundcard is Layla. My software is Cubase VST 3.6, Sound Forge 4.5, CD Architect and Acid. My question is......when I enter the audio editor in Cubase I have it set up to go to Sound Forge. When I go to play the file in Sound Forge I get the message that the output is being used by another device(Cubase) How can I set up Cubase or Sound Forge so that they can share an output buss? Or how can I set it up so that Sound Forge plays back THROUGH Cubase? |

I figured it out. You need a second sound card.I bought a low price one and use it just to monitor my edits! paul wrote: >>I have a system based on a 400Mhz, 256M RAM, 9gig SCSI, >>6.4ide.
