Subject:Waveform display becomes big block of crap when scrolling

Hi all.

When the waveform display in SoundForge scrolls horizontally on my system, the new data
coming in from the right is usually just a big blocked-out mass. And when I select a range,
spurious chunks of data appear or disappear within the selection area. Any re-sizing of the
editing window will cause the waveform to redraw correctly.

I'm running version 4.0e, with a Diamond GL 1000 video card in a Dell Pentium II 400.

I suspect this piece-of-crap video card, but has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks.

Gavin

Hey -

Video card manufacturers have this nast habit of leaving something out
of their drivers that tells the processor that other systems are
trying to use the processor.. check out zefiro acoustics.com - "Video
kills Audio" for the details - I hope it helps. Mebbe they can even
help you edit the video driver.
