Sound Forge recognizes my OPL3 Midi source on my Sony Vaio
system and lists it as the selected option. However I can't
seem to record MIDI and I don't want to switch all my
programs to Sound Forges MIDI mapper......all my other
programs seem to work effortlessly with the existing set
up. Is SF able to record MIDI? If so, what am I doing
wrong??? The manual talks mostly about the midi mapper.

Sound Forge does not record MIDI. It wil listen to MIDI for triggers or
sync.
