i'm using the oxygen 202 video card. sound forge 4.5 has problems displying wavefile windows at sizes larger than the default. when i try to expand the window the wav drawing becomes fractured and many artifacts are left behind on the screen when various windows are moved from place to place. does anyone have a solution other than replacing the card? |

I have similar-sounding problems with a Diamond GL 1000 card. When the waveform scrolls, it usually becomes a big blocked-out mass. Any resizing of the window will cause it to re-draw correctly (albeit temporarily). Selecting a range will often produce disconnected artifacts or erasure of the waveform. I've been blaming the video card driver, but perhaps Sound Forge is interacting strangely with more than one card. Gavin |
