i have a problem whit my mouse and sound forge 4.5. (right know i´m downloading the update file). My problem show up, when i click rec. Then show up a window "record sound001" and a bunch of controls more, and when i click on rec, my mouse die,and if i want to use the mouse on windows or soundforge i must to restart my machine. My proble show up to, when i check on "DC adjust" (enable "calibrate" buton), then i click on calibrate and my mouse die. My hard is: awe64 gold (driver v.14) sis 6215 (whitout the driver right know i´m using it in standar vga compatible) Encore pci modem 56k multi ide (only whit the serial port enabled) realtek rtl8029 pci network card 32mb ram celeron 266 |

I think your problem is not with your mouse but your computer. Its freezing up because it cant handle all it. Time to get a new computer im afraid. |

Hector: You don't have to get a new computer. Your problem is with the sis pci video card. upgade to a AGP card or a different card. NO sis card. the video card on the pci bus is what causes the problem.. I had the same problem with a layla sound card & a sis PCI card/ changed to a AGP and the problem is gone.. clo. |

I work with two to three hour digital audio files on a Pentium MMX 233 on a regular basis.
