Anyone have any suggestions on a good sidechaining plug-in for use with acid pro 6? I want to hear what you all have to say for all price ranges of pluggins from freeware to $$$$$. Thanks skm |

ACID does not support side chaining directly. There are some special plugs that _can_ work by introducing alternate means to accomplish this, but we do not directly support this. Peter |

side chaining is a crucial step in pretty much all electronic music. ouch .... Don't know about that. There has been a lot of electronic music produced with ACID - and the other DAWs before they added side chain support - for a long time now. Search the forums here and there will be some work arounds for side chaining in Vegas/ACID. I never had much luck with these plug-ins. With VST3 formally defining side chainable plug-ins, we are looking at incorporating this feature into a future version of ACID. Peter |
