Have an original song without drums. This song has several tempo changes. I want to lock this audio files' tempos, create regions for tempo changes, then add drum loops to match the tempos within each region. So how do I create a region and only select certain loops within a region to change thier tempo while leaving the original audio at its native tempos? I am using AcidXPress |

You need to drop a Tempo Marker (T) each time the tempo changes in your song and specify the new tempo. Any loop after that marker will assume that tempo until the next tempo marker. In effect, the area between two tempo markers will create the "regions" you are trying to create. Make sure the track that contains your song has a type of One Shot. This way ACID will not try to change the tempo of the song as well. You can change the type in the Track Properties. ~jr Message last edited on1/5/2008 9:06:31 AM byJohnnyRoy. |
