Subject:Inserting Minor Chords

Hi,

I have been trying, unsucessfully, to insert some minor
chord/key changes into Acid, but find it impossible, only
majors.

Am I missing something, or is Acid incapable of doing this?

Thanks,

The way that ACID works with keys is that it bases what key
you are in simply by what the key root note is.

Musicially speaking it would be impossible for ACID to
change a major key project to minor. This is why:
If you have a major chord, root note C you will have the
notes- C, E, G
If you have a minor chord, root note C you will have the
notes- C, Eb, G
ACID will adjust all the notes in your project to the
correct root note- it will not destroy the chord.

So, if your song is in e minor and you change the root to A-
your song will still be in minor- a minor
ACID will change the key but not your song's complete
tonality.

Happy composing. Hope that helps.
