Subject:Annoying Pop-up Posted by: Stormwaj Date:12/30/2007 9:04:05 PM I have Acid 6.0d, Vegas 7.0, DVD Architect 4.0, and CD Architect 5.2 on my computer. For a while, I was having problems with an annoying Windows Help and Support pop-up every time I chose a plug-in in Acid. Now it is happening in Vegas. How can I stop this?

The Windows Help and Support pop-up is the result of installing programs that use it (in VIsta), even though it is not available. Apparently, Microsoft is no longer packing the help files with new versions of Windows, so in order to stop the annoying pop-up, you have to install the help files. I did that, and now I don't get the pop-ups. It seems to be a problem among many users of Acid who are installing on newer versions of Windows. I found other forums with the same question asked. The good news is that it's not a Sony problem.
