HELP!!! -- Tempo Changes With Acid Loops & Direct Recording -ACID Product Family

I discovered recently that either the version of Acid Pro I've has a bug or I'm doing something wrong. I believe the build I've is Acid Pro 2.0 Build(60) - but could be wrong. I know it's Ver2.0 Anyways, the problem I'm having is this. When I add the loop tracks to acid and assign a tempo change for all loops to change that works perfectly. But when I record a guitar part within acid from start to finish - listen to the playback - at the time where the tempo changes - the guitar part restarts from the begining and also changes the with the tempo and I don't want that to happen. All I want to do is let the other loops change tempo, but keep the one guitar part the same without changing tempo or having it restart. Is there a resolvement for this issue ?
